The Devil and a piece of the truth

The Devil and one of his friends were on watch at a local branch library when they saw a young man open a heavy book.

"What does he have there?" the friend asked.

"A piece of the truth," the devil replied.

"That's bad for us then, " the friend said.

"Not at all," the Devil replied, "I'm going to encourage him to stay with it."
